Any employee of the Medford Township Public Schools may apply for a grant to fund a project which benefits the students of the district. You must log in with your school account to view the form to apply for the funding that could bring that great idea right into your classroom!
Once you start the form, you must complete it in one siting. You can not begin it and save it for later completion. Because of this, you are encouraged to download the form and complete it offline first so that you can fill in the answers in one session.
Teacher Grant Process
September - November 15
Teachers complete grant application and attach copies of quotes for all items, including approved vendors, quantities and prices.
November 15 - December 15th
MEF reviews and selects grants for approval.
MEF notifies Business Office of approved grants and corresponding amounts.
Business Office creates account in Systems 3000.
Teachers process Purchase Orders using account number created by Business Office
(Amounts of POs are allowed up to but not exceeding the amount provided by the approved MEF grant using only those vendors approved within the grant.)
Business Office provides MEF an accounting of actual expenses.
Meeting between Business Office and MEF Treasurer or representative to reconcile accounts.
MEF provides check for actual encumbered expenses.
Unused grant money allocated by the MEF for such year will be added to the MEF Endowment Fund.
